Mid-century modern half-Parsons table
For sale: An excellent mid-century example of a half-Parsons table, ideally tucked into a corner and used to display a plant (as I did), sculpture, vase, lamp, or whatever your heart desires. Similar to the IKEA Lack table, this piece dates to the 1960s. Unlike IKEA's board-on-frame version (read: cardboard honeycomb sandwiched between two sheets of cheap pressboard), this one is made of solid wood constuction, corner blocked for rock-solid stability. Featuring an ebonized top and natural legs, the piece coordinates beautifully with the color scheme of George Nelson's iconic slat bench. Perfect for your retro modern, Eames inspired home.
Good vintage condition, showing moderate wear from years of use. Some scratches, some water stains on the legs, but generally a very beautiful, serviceable piece.
Dimensions: Top is 21.5” x 21.5” x 30.5” Height is 17.75”
The table is sold as-is, on a first-come-first-served basis. Cash only. Please include a phone number in your reply for a quick response.
