VINTAGE CHINESE RICKSHAW CHILD SIZE GREAT DISPLAY ITEM!

I've had this vintage Rickshaw for a few years now, but am downsizing, and (sadly) this unusual item needs to go.

This unusual small-size Rickshaw measures 6'4" long, 44-1/2" tall and 28" wide. I think this may have been used as a vendor display item because it has the brand name "Chung King" on the outside back crossbar.

Being a vintage item, there is fading of color and peeling paint in places, adding to its overall charm. The color of the sun cover is good, and there are no holes. The wheels are secure and roll easily; sturdy enough to haul a child (or small adult)! How fun would that be? Someone creative enough could fashion this to fit a bicycle..... I can also see this attached to a harness for a large dog to pull.

This item would look nice on display in the home with other vintage oriental items, and could be placed outside in an oriental-style garden.

What are your ideas? Don't miss the opportunity to see this piece - it's one of those items that you don't see every day!

This thing is cool. Is it still for sale, and if so where are you at and what are you asking for it?

my parents owned a supermarket and i was given one of these rickshaws from the Chung King Chineese Food salesman. It was used as a promotional piece for Chung King chow mein, noodles, etc. in the mid 1960's about 1965/1966. My brother and I used to attach it to our bicycle and take our friends for a ride on it. Hah!! Anyhow...thought you might like some info. on where it was originally from (display). We used ours until it broke!!!
